Border trade town that is co-ruled by Thronstadt and Wintershield as dictated by treaty in the aftermath of [[majorevents:warofemberlight|The War of Emberlight]] roughly a century ago (~85 BA).  International Affairs are managed by a diplomatic council with most local matters managed by a locally elected mayor.

Funds raised by the city are largely reinvested to Winter Road Projects and other local priorities.

Constant site of conflict between Wintershield and Thronstadt during the War of Emberlight; changing hands several times and suffering significant damage in that period.
