Tower of Ascension

Druid Lyriana Mossveil is the royal druid in the employ of King Varbis III and serves as the appointed protector of the Thorned Gardens within the Ruinele royal palace complex.

She advises the crown on matters concerning nature, magical flora and fauna, and the balance of the land. Though attached to the royal court, Lyriana is most often seen within the Thorned Gardens, tending to its rare plants and overseeing the safety of its unusual creatures.

Lyriana has a mysterious and composed presence. She is known for her long, flowing auburn hair, often intertwined with living vines and leaves. Her eyes are a deep emerald green and seem to glimmer with old natural wisdom.

She wears a cloak of woven moss and living wood, enchanted to blend seamlessly with the environment of the Thorned Gardens.

As royal druid, Lyriana’s duties include:

Maintaining the health and balance of the Thorned Gardens. Advising King Varbis III on matters of nature and land stewardship. Supervising rare magical flora and fauna kept within the palace grounds. Protecting dangerous or otherworldly specimens from harm, theft, or misuse.

Lyriana is closely associated with the Thorned Gardens, a famous section of the Thorned Palace known for magical plants and rare fauna. Visitors are sometimes permitted to tour portions of the gardens, though many sections remain restricted to the royal family, trusted palace servants, and Lyriana herself.

Notable specimens under her care include:

The Astral Bloom — a rare plant from the Astral Plane, known for its silvery glow, star-like motes of light, and subtle gravitational magic. The Void Serpent — an ethereal serpent-like creature capable of phasing in and out of existence.
