Orlen “The Scribe” Greyleaf is Middleton’s elderly elven historian and chronicler. Stooped, frail, and perpetually ink-stained, Orlen has recorded local history for longer than many townsfolk can remember.

His mind remains razor-sharp. Adventurers seek him out for forgotten legends, ruin-lore, old maps, noble genealogies, ancient magic, and warnings ignored by previous generations.

Orlen is patient, dry, and quietly amused by the impatience of the young. He dislikes sloppy scholarship almost as much as he dislikes people who fold maps incorrectly.
