Geography and Layout

Rocky, Hilly Terrain with a largely impassible mountain range to the West, which isolates the region. Temperate but Rainy Climate.

History

Home of many non-Feng Aligned Goblins for Centuries. The Mountains between the Peninsula and the rest of the Free Lands are largely impassible; travel by sea being the only reliable mode of transportation. This isolation combined with the lack of highly sought after minerals has kept the kingdom fairly isolated. Only the recent spike in Smokepowder production, the only reliable source outside of the Dwarven Holds, has led to increased interest in the region from outside parties. This is especially true for the Coin Lords and Pirates of the Corsair Seas, who are both inclined to keep questions about cargo to a minimum, have poor relations with the largely lawful Dwarven Holds, and can sell protection at reasonable rates.

Economy

Gabhann

Capital City of the Goblin Kingdom but still largely a massive sprawl of stone and thatch buildings; only a few larger structures. Maybe 10,000 Goblins can be found here at any time. Notable Landmarks include the King's Hall, the Ironworks and Temple of Talic. Visitors are less common than more popular trading fronts like Scath.

Scath

Coastal Trading Town. Most structures in the city are non-permanent tents and similar structures. Goblin goods, such as Tin, Charcoal and Whiskey, are shipped here from the kingdom for centralized trading. Smokepowder trade is more strictly controlled and only a handful of trusted merchants and buyers are permitted to conduct trade in this material. Trade with the Dwarven Holds is limited due to competition over some markets.
