Tower of Ascension

Tower of Ascension

Boondoggle!

Overview

Sharlore is a large elven settlement northeast of Wallhaven, older than Wallhaven’s formal protectorate claims and deeply rooted in elven memory, craft, and forest tradition.

Once known for its slow rhythms and careful continuity, Sharlore has been thrown into crisis by the fall of Lazklennar to the forces of the The Triad. Refugees now crowd its halls, strain its food stores, and unsettle old political balances.

Character

Sharlore is elegant, old, and increasingly tense. Its old families value patience, courtesy, ancestry, and the deep customs of the forest. Younger elves, especially those displaced by war, are less patient. Many seek arms, training, and revenge.

Wallhaven soldiers are viewed with mixed feelings. Some locals see them as protectors. Others see the garrisons as the first step toward cultural absorption.

Current Tensions

  • Elven refugees from Laz’klennar.
  • Feywild disturbances in the nearby forest.
  • Debate over accepting additional Wallhaven garrisons.
  • Old elven families resisting rapid change.
  • Younger elves seeking military training and vengeance.
